10th WWC World Wushu Competition

Finally some videos of the 10th World Wushu Competition which were held on late October in Toronto, Canada. It was interesting to see different people claiming the stop 10, even 20 spots. It was even more surprising to see the results of first, seconds, thirds places. Previous top national/international champions replaced with new names. It is true, as the saying goes, there is always a taller mountain, one cannot be the top in the world as there will always be someone better. The old replaced with the young, the old with new. There is no limit to self-development and practice. There is no age in skill and experience.

The competition of Wushu performance in the international (world) level is cut-throat, despite this, it is still somewhat surprising to see how a good performer would get such scores, while someone else with much simpler moves and coreography get higher scores compared to that of an individual with a complicated and difficult moves.

Indonesia has steadily and continually kept their spots high in the world level, claiming 1st place in men jianshu (sword)last WWC and 1st place in women taichi this time around. There is something about their coreography, which are different to others. Less complicated and not too difficult, yet looks good.
It is always interesting to watch videos, and very good they were indeed.
