Why QiGong didnt save China #2

After discussing with numerous people, I have come up with a number of theories as to why there was nobody who came out with an all powerful QiGong ability to defend or save China.....this also applies to anywhere else in the world, Why isn't there anyone powerful enough to do something incredible - I mean not for show, but actually achieving something without the intention to showcase their skill with the purpose of showing off and letting the whole world how special they are. I mean, actually using their skill and powers to do something worthy. For instance, when Japan invaded China, the outcome and aftermath was just horrendous. What happened? Why didn't any super all-powerful Qi Gong master defended their beloved country. It was either no one with all-powerful Qi Gong who loved their country or there was just not enough to fight off the (sadistic) invading troops.
First theory is that there is no such thing as Qi Gong or any other almost mystical energy and power. I, myself do not agree with this theory.
Second theory is that there was just not enough of real martial artists and masters with real, pure skills back in the days, let alone in this day and age. We all know how stingy masters are....they don't like teaching things as a whole, they like to keep things to themselves or passing down parts of their knowledge and skills to different students or even bits by bits to A student, the whole process can take years and years. Who knows if the student have actually learned what he could have learnt before the master even dies. Nevertheless, martial arts, kung fu, whatever the terms are nowadays, have lost much of its essence. When chinese martial arts/kung fu were created it was as magical as the stars (quoted, I wouldn't know this for sure, but it sounds quite true) If martial arts can be as good as what they are now - in regards to their application, artistry, concept and the whole lot; who knows how great it would have been thousands and thousands of years ago, when its actual essence has not slowly diminished throughout time and generation.
My personal belief is that internal energy exist, OF COURSE it exist, it doesn't take much to realise that there is something so much more out there and it isn't hard to understand and even recognise the energy of the universe, I mean, we are all made up of energy - the air we breathe, the food, the movement we make which are resulted from energy.
Back to the topic, martial art masters really like to keep secrets, since ancient times masters of many subjects enjoys hiding true meaning and intentions in many-many ways, the most prominent method were poems and songs. Ancient Chinese texts such as the I'Ching and many others are full of stories, poems and songs with hidden meaning. It is up to the reader how they will convey and understand it, it all depends on their creativity and IQ level. It doesn't help that China underwent numerous cultural revolution throughout the different and ever changing dynasties; where countless books and records were burnt. One can only imagine the amount of vast knowledge accumulated for thousands of years that has been destroyed again and again throughout the history.
